Cleveland SWAT by BBI Elite Force

Together with the SAS and USMC Force Recon released by BBI in 2000, Cleveland SWAT was somewhat of a disappointment. This first series featured the head sculpts that could have "expressions" i.e. you insert a "key" to the back of the neck and by turning it, the jaws could open or close - interesting gimmick but BBI didn't go very far with it.

By adding Saturday Toys' SWAT uniform set, at least now the Cleveland SWAT figure looks decent.

There's also LAPD SWAT officer Jack Traven (Keanu Reeves), BBI LASD SWAT "Chuck Morris", FBI HRT, Hot Toys LAPD SWAT v2.0 with Colin Farrell head sculpt, Dragon's Colin Farrell SWAT figure, BBI LAPD SWAT "Sergeant Mendez", Takara's Combat Joe SWAT, Dragon NYPD ESU "Bill" and "Winona".

This was a specially commissioned Cleveland, Ohio Police Department SWAT Team "Barret" 1/6 Collectible Figure from BBI Elite Force Series.

BBi Elite Force 1/6 figure line offers highly articulated, accurate depictions of soldiers from various theaters of operation from World War II to the modern day, and police and sheriff departments from around the world. Modern law enforcement is a very demanding role requiring officers to be skilled in many tasks far beyond what would have been expected of them previously. Numerous sheriff departments today include swat teams who are trained in multiple role capabilities including sniper operations, hostage situation, riot control and VIP security. These well-trained and equipped officers are the cutting edge of today's law enforcement operations and they put a new meaning into the familiar word of "police"!

hi there, I checked some popular sites (e-bay, amazon) but found none :( this figure is pretty old and not so readily available now. Futhermore, what you see on my post isn't the original cleveland SWAT outfit & gear.

The original looks like the link attached:
http://www.amazon.com/Special-Commissioned-Cleveland-Department-Collectible/dp/B002ZYRL9C

You can also find some SWAT figures on e-bay: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=12%22+SWAT&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_okw=12%22+SWAT&_oexkw=&_udlo=&_udhi=&_ftrt=901&_ftrv=1&_sabdlo=&_sabdhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=200&_fpos=Zip+code&_fsct=&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_sop=3&_dmd=1&_ipg=50

All the BEST!
