Very nice, very detailed combat swim board used for navigation underwater. Try swimming underwater in the dark against the undersea currents and you'll have a lot of respect for these combat swimmers, especially when time is of the essence.
In the movie "The Rock (1996)" starring Sir Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage, Michael Biehn (famous for his role as Kyle Reese in "Terminator (1984)" and USCM Corporal Hicks in "Aliens (1986)" played US Navy SEAL team commander Anderson who leads his team together with Stanley Goodspeed (Cage) and John Patrick Mason (Connery) on a raid of Alcatraz to retrieve the VX gas rockets.
