Incoming: Hot Toys MMS200 Man of Steel: 1/6th Henry Cavill Superman 12-inch Collectible Figure

It's about time!

Man of Steel is one of the most anticipated blockbusters this summer. Directed by Zack Synder and produced by Christopher Nolan, Man of Steel will reboot the Superman franchise by giving audience a new look at the origin of the iconic superhero and his rise to become the protector of Earth and its people.

We are also excited to announce that the Hot Toys’ 200th collectible figure of the Movie Masterpiece Series goes to this one of the most well-known superheroes of all time. To celebrate this milestone, a 1:1 scale Kryptonian Command Key will be included with the Collectible Figure as an appreciation for all of our fans’ support over the years!

The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Henry Cavill as Superman in the movie, featuring a highly detailed head sculpt, finely designed costume with embossed pattern and the iconic red cape.

Must buy for me. Though I hope they can improve on the body. Still not movie alike.

But the movie is solid!

Fantastic likeness!

Can hardly wait for this one!

But I hope to Krypton he's poseable. That rubberised costume doesn't seem to bode well (hello, practically unposeable 1989 Keaton Batman.)

Because of my TOTAL admiration for Christopher Reeves as an actor and human beingin addition to the FLAWLESS execution of his Hot Toys' version of SUPERMAN and the barely $200 price ,I'm very likely not to pick this up. The upcoming coming 1/6th DC version however may be my next SUPERMAN. This M.O.S version will be about $230-$250 if its less I'll be surprised.

The body type isnt right. Hes too big. Head sculpt looks nice, but too rich for my blood.

Its a cashcow again. Hot toys is bringing figures to every new blockbuster. This movie was mediocre why should I want a figure from it?!?

He costs less than $200. Headsculpt is great (Hottoys don't have to bother anymore with lots of light FX on promo photos; as they are improving in skin rendering and coloring. In hand this will look fantastic). The body is a prototype (with so many people complaining, of course they will tone it down; and probably alterate the colors of cape and costume).

And Quattro; whoever you are, I just saw the exact same (word to word) comment on a forum elsewhere. Are you mad at Hot Toys or where you dissapointed by the movie, because you sound like trolling (exact commentary pasted dude...)

I hope that for MMS201 they do a great Jor-el/Crowe headsculpt.

the body seems off to me, but as you said, it just a prototype.

btw the movie is quit epic for me, compared to avengers, but i guess thats a personal preferences
