Review 1: Foxbox Studio 1/6 scale God Complex: Inari 12-inch Collectible Figure - It's just WOW!

We break from regular programming to bring you this latest report :)
Foxbox Studio God Complex Inari 1/6 scale figure is OUT! And he looks FANTASTIC!

Backstory:
High strain between the Rulers and the humans can be felt throughout the Earth. However, in the exotic land of Nippon, a different atmosphere took place. Undeterred by the human's highly advanced technology and science in the region, both races live in harmony. The Rulers race in this region are a philanthropic bunch and using their connection to nature, they helped the people of Nippon to get back on their feet after their dark and traumatic past. In many places of the land, the humans built many temples in honor of their deeds, and more than one-third of the temples are dedicated to their favorite Ruler, Inari.

Inari shares many similar characteristics with one of the Ruler of Hellenic Republic, Hermes. They are not only similar, they know each other quite well. To quote the words of Hermes to Inari: "A guy as lucky as you, I better have you on my side."

God Complex: Hermes was the first 12-inch figure to be released by Foxbox Studio back in October 2011. You can check out the reviews HERE, HERE and HERE. Hermes was followed by God Complex: Hades, released a year later in 2012. See the pictures and reviews HERE, HERE and HERE. Happy Halloween with Jack Skellington from Tim Burton's 1993 The Nightmare Before Christmas

Halloween or Hallowe'en, also known as All Hallows' Eve, is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It initiates the triduum of Hallowmas, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers.

Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related "guising" or "trunk-or-treating"), attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. (source: wiki)

What better way to celebrate Halloween on Toy Haven than with Jack Skellington. Jack Skellington is a fictional character and the protagonist of the 1993 film The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack is the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town and lives in a fantasy world based solely on the Halloween holiday. It’s been 20 years since we all saw the pumpkin king on the big screen. Scroll down to see more pictures, including the other 11 Jack Skellington heads that came with this 2005 released NECA Deluxe Jack Skellington with interchangeable heads toy figure.

Show of FORCE! Taiwan Military Might displayed

Taiwan's new army uniforms are downright scary!
by Brendan Fitzgibbons on Tuesday, Oct 22, 2013 as reported on DramaFever

Forget Halloween, these might be the scariest costumes you see this fall. The Taiwanese government recently unveiled their new Special Forces armor, and it's pretty terrifying. The new uniforms feature bulletproof armor and a ballistic face mask that make soldiers look like a villain in a horror movie.

The armor is supposed to protect against close range shots. When the soldiers line up and march, it's hard not to think they look like a Star Wars clone army. Scroll down to see more pictures (including those of other Taiwanese military units on display as well). Most impressive!

Review DC Direct Jim Lee inspired All Star Series 1: Batman 6.75 inches Tall Action Figure - NICE!

This DC Direct All Star Series 1: Batman action figure was released in 2009 but has only just ended in the Batman collection of Toy Haven. I'm a big Batman fan and almost called my toy blog the BAT CAVE but since I don't just collect batman figures although it was Batman that started me down this incredible journey (hobby), I decided on TOY HAVEN instead and I've been blogging ever since July 2007. My first few posts in TOY HAVEN were all about my Batman collection. I've since moved on to focus more on 1/6 scale figures because 12-inch figures are GREAT with their pose-ability, realistic and life-like head sculpts, authentic and accurate 1/6 scale fabric outfits / costumes and accessories plus gear and weapons. You also have the added option of kitbashing which lends a whole new dimension for customization and individualism.

When I came across this figure at a local shop, I felt in love with the figure right away. I love the Jim Lee interpretation and rendering of Batman as a menacing and angry avenger and crime fighter AND the sculpt of Batman has to be one of the best I've ever seen. Love the short ears of the cowl. In this instance, the cowl not only conceals Batman's features but contributes to his imposing appearance. Scroll down to see more pictures :)

Incoming: ACI Toys ACI-14 A "Total Rome!" 1/6 scale Roman Legionary 12-inch action figure

At its peak the Roman army was probably the most effective fighting force in the ancient world. It conquered and maintained an empire that, by the 1st century CE, stretched from Britain to North Africa and from Spain to Egypt. At the heart of this formidable organization were the legionaries - tough professional infantry equipped with sword, shield and javelin. Equally dominant in pitched battles and in siege warfare, they were used to cow or destroy the enemies of Rome in campaigns of ruthless efficiency.

The Roman legionary's armor was a compromise between protection and mobility. Head, shoulders, and torso were well protected by the iron helmet and cuirass, but arms and legs were uncovered. Sometimes soldiers wore greaves to protect their legs and even flexible arm guards of overlapping plates. Although there was considerable uniformity in the appearance of the legions across the empire, especially in the 1st century CE, legions must often have been fitted out in a variety of different styles of armor and helmets. From ACI is coming this 1/6 scale Roman Legionary 12-inch action figure fitted with what he needs to do battle! Scroll down to see the pictures.

Quick bash 1/6 Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, League of Shadows Ninja in "Batman Begins"

Bruce Wayne is a billionaire industrialist whose parents were killed by a mugger when he was eight years old. Traveling the world for several years to seek the means to fight injustice, he returns to Gotham to be its protector and Dark Knight.

In the Christopher Nolan film "Batman Begins", Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) decides to travel and learn about the criminal underworld. In a Bhutanese prison, Henri Ducard offers to train him in the arts of stealth and fear as a member of the League of Shadows, led by Ra's al Ghul. After completing his training, Bruce learns the League's true intention is to destroy Gotham City, which it views as corrupt beyond saving. Bruce refuses to join them and burns down the League's temple in the process. Ra's is killed by falling debris, while Bruce saves an unconscious Ducard, leaving him with the local villagers.

This is a kitbash (or rather, a quick bash) of 1/6 scale Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne as a League of Shadows Ninja in "Batman Begins". Since I got the Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master figure (reviewed earlier in my toy blog and posted HERE and HERE), I just had to see how the 1/6 scale ninja outfit will look on 12-inch Christian Bale Bruce Wayne. Scroll down to see the rest of the pictures :)

Incoming: Hot Toys 1/6 scale Captain Harlock 12-inch Collectible Figure with Throne of Arcadia

Space Pirate Captain Harlock was a classic manga comics created by the legendary Leiji Matsumoto in the 1970s. The story follows Harlock, an outcast, who has turned into a Space Pirate and led a crew aboard his starship Arcadia to rebel against Earth's oppressors. Its popularity has led to the creation of an animation series in the 1980s, and this year the story has been remade as an epic CG film and is hitting the theaters / cinemas.

Hot Toys is excited to present the new 1/6th scale Captain Harlock Collectible Figure with his majestic Throne of Arcadia from the Space Pirate Captain Harlock CG movie. The movie-accurate collectible is finely crafted and features a newly developed head sculpt, stylish costume, a meticulously sculpted Throne of Arcadia, weapons and Captain Harlock’s avian friend – Mr. Bird.

Backstory (as given):
Coordinator is the world creator and the ruler of mankind. They cannot reveal their true identity to the world. By trying to become human, he has to split his power into two, which is Lilith and Lois. This create equilibrium for human.

OE (Original Effect) 1/6 scale Army Attractive series Vol.8 - Lois 13.5-inch figure will come with 1/6 scale Lois head sculpt and cloth costume, 13.5-inch tall Reborn body with hands and feet in high heels. They are almost identical except where Lilith is all black and flesh tones, Lois is dressed in all white attire / outfit / costume.

So far I have only gotten the one Original Effect (OE) Army Attractive series 1/6 Viola 13.5-inch female action figure (reviewed HERE and HERE) and I have pre-ordered Original Effect (OE) Killer Instinct series Vol. 1 SAM figure. And I must admit, this latest preview figures Lilith and Lois look rather nice ;p I dig the stylized head sculpts and don't mind the sculpted hair. Her costume even has a certain super hero vibe to it, unlike the previously previewed Vol. 6 Clarinet (Nun) figure (pictures HERE). Scroll down to see more ;p

Liam meets Neeson: Figure Club "Ducard" 12-inch figure side-by-side with 1/6 scale Bryan Mills

continued from previous post...

Two 1/6 scale Liam Neeson 12-inch action figures: kitbash Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills in TAKEN on the left (posted earlier HERE) and Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master 12-inch figure on the right. I've already reviewed the Figure Club "Ducard" figure in my toy blog posts earlier HERE and HERE. I had no intentions of getting this figure based on the preview pictures I saw but changed my mind when I saw the product in hand. The final produced figure looks so much better and I did not think twice about getting it. I'm glad I did because this figure is well produced and value-for-money. Which goes to show: GOOD preview / prototype pictures are very important to help sell / promote a company's product! So to all 1/6 scale manufacturers out there, you can reach me at cowpehcowbu@gmail.com (send me your prototypes and I'll show the world how good your product is)

Always like to put figures together for a group shot. In this case, a chance to see how these 1/6 scale Liam Neeson figures fare individually as well as with each other. Individually, I've covered these 12-inch action figures in my earlier toy blog posts but this is the first time I'm lining them up for group pictures. Pre-order Super Duck 1/6 Chicken Grandpa Outfit and Head Sculpt Set (Colonel Sanders?)

KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) is a fast food restaurant chain which specializes in fried chicken and is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, United States (US). It is the world's second largest restaurant chain overall (as measured by sales) after McDonald's, with over 18,000 outlets in 120 countries and territories as of December 2012.

KFC was founded by Harland Sanders, a colorful figure who began selling fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky, during the Great Depression. By branding himself as "Colonel Sanders", Harland became a prominent figure of American cultural history, and his image remains widely used in KFC advertising. (source: wiki)

Taking their inspiration from Kentucky Fried Chicken's world famous Colonel Sanders, Super Duck is offering this Chicken Grandpa Outfit and Head Sculpt Set as their upcoming release. You'll recognize the white jacket, white pants, distinctive black bow tie, black dress shoes immediately. What makes this set interesting (and somewhat confusing) is the use of the 1/6 scale "Reclusive Millionaire" Christian Bale head sculpt (see my previous post HERE), with the hair all painted white.

Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master figure Review II

continued from previous post...

In the comics, Bruce Wayne approaches Ducard for training in Paris, during his early days traveling the world. Ducard, a knowledgeable detective with excellent man-hunting skills, imparts much of his knowledge to the young, keen Bruce. Later in the series, it is revealed that Ducard is largely amoral, working for criminals as often as he does the law. In Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, Liam Neeson portrayed Henri Ducard's character merged with Ra's al Ghul's, the film's main antagonist.

In "Batman Begins", Liam Neeson as Henri Ducard is a mysterious man who first finds Bruce Wayne in a Bhutanese prison and then trains him in the martial arts. Initially posing as a subservient member of the League of Shadows, an organization led by Ra's al Ghul, it is later revealed that he is Ra's al Ghul himself who used the name "Ducard" as a pseudonym to hide his true identity.

Here's Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master 12-inch figure armed with his sword / katana. Although shorter swords and daggers were used, the katana was probably the ninja's weapon of choice, and was sometimes carried on the back. While straight swords were used before the invention of the katana, the straight ninjatō has no historical precedent and is likely a modern invention. Review 1: Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master figure

The preview pictures (posted HERE) didn't do this figure justice at all. When I actually saw the product in hand, I was pretty convinced and did not have any hesitation whatsoever in getting it. So here's the Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master figure now up for the first part review

Figure Club 1/6 scale The League of Shadows "Ducard" Ninja Shadow Master 12-inch figure (worldwide limited release of 150 sets) comes with: Real-like 1/6 scale head sculpt of Ducard, 12-inch action figure body, face mask, detachable samurai armor consisting of chest, shoulders, arms and crouch piece, ninja clothing set, boots with armor, three pairs of gloved hands with armor, katana, leather-like katana scabbard. Scroll down to see all the parts described.

In the 2005 film "Batman Begins" directed by Christopher Nolan, Liam Neeson is Ra's al Ghul and under the pseudonym Henri Ducard, he trains Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) in ninjutsu, a form of martial arts. Hot Toys never did release a 1/6 scale Movie Masterpiece Series Liam Neeson as Henri Ducard / Ra's al Ghul 12-inch figure so this Figure Club release fills the void nicely.

Seeing double of 007? Brother Production Sky Fall MI6 Agent & ZCWO AB02 12-inch body

continued from previous post...

The name's BOND, James BOND. Secret Agent 007.

Here are some comparison pictures of Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 12-inch Figure with ZCWO 1/6 scale Articulate Body AB02 (Limited Edition) 12-inch Figure wearing Asmus Toys 1/6 scale 007 The BOND suit (reviewed earlier in my toy blog post HERE)

You will notice that I gave the DID 1/6 scale British Military Intelligence Section 6 (MI6) Agent "Jack" 12-inch Spy Figure (previewed HERE) a miss. That is because every time I'm at the shop and I decide to give the figure a chance, I am put off by the head sculpt and have to put the figure back on the shelf. DiD's Craig Bond (but named "Jack") looked really old with a long saggy face and certainly looked like he needs to be retired to an old folks' home. Not the kind of Bond I'm looking for.

Preview 1/6 scale Reclusive Millionaire Outfit and Christian Bale Head Sculpt Set from Super Duck

For those who like to collect every aspect of Batman in 1/6 scale, even Bruce Wayne in his different outfits, this one's for you. Seems like Super Duck has the same idea as PIRP Toys when it comes to 1/6 scale outfits. Instead of producing the superhero costumes worn by the actors, they choose to focus on the civilian outfits instead.

For their upcoming 1/6 scale Reclusive Millionaire Outfit and Head Sculpt Set, Super Duck must have been inspired by an early scene in the the 2012 superhero film "The Dark Knight Rises" directed by Christopher Nolan. In that particular scene, Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) is at Wayne Manor and encounters Bruce Wayne in the off limits area of his huge mansion for the first time. This set, based on Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) "Howard Hughs" recluse look, comes with a gray sweat shirt, gray sweat pants, orange and black patterned robe with cloth belt, walking cane, black cloth slippers, and bearded / disheveled Bruce Wayne head sculpt.

Super Duck 1/6 scale Reclusive Millionaire Outfit and Christian Bale Head Sculpt Set includes 1/6 scale Head Sculpt, Robe with Cloth Belt, Slippers, Sweat Shirt, Sweat Pants, Walking Cane. NOTE: 12-inch figure body not included (display only). Scroll down to see more pictures

Review II: Daniel Craig James Bond - Brother Production 1/6 Sky Fall MI6 Agent 12-inch figure

continued from previous post...

Here's Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" (deliberately misspelled) 12-inch Figure in some action poses. In the first picture, 12-inch James Bond (Daniel Craig) is armed with the 1/6 scale Heckler & Koch UMP-9, the first weapon James Bond (Daniel Craig) uses in the film "Quantum of Solace (2008)" but didn't see any action in "Skyfall". Why it is included with Brother Production Sky Fall boxed figure set is anybody's guess - additional weapons are good :) and what makes this sweeter is that 1/6 scale UMP SMGs are quite hard to come by.

Scroll down to see other pictures of Brother Production 1/6 scale Secret Agent 007 James Bond (Daniel Craig) figure with his Walther PPK, Bond's main sidearm throughout all the films. I actually prefer this Bond over the DID MI6 Agent Jack because IMHO DiD's Jack looks rather old to be Bond - DiD's face looks old, long and saggy, like his face melted from seeing the Ark from Indiana Jones (they really should have retired him instead) whereas Brother production's Bond looks debonair and suave, as Bond should be ;p

Preview pictures of Coo Model next release: SK05 1/6 scale Skull Spear Soldier (Skeleton)

Coo Model next release: SK05 1/6 scale Skull Spear Soldier preview pictures :) The skeleton figure will come with 1/6 scale Skull head, 12-inch Human skeleton body, Skeleton hands x 6, Shoe connector x 2, Spear and Shield. Attachments: connector of hand, foot connector support HT interface.

I have already reviewed the Coo Model 1/6 scale Skeleton Soldier 12-inch figure (think of the classic 1963 "Jason & the Argonauts" film) HERE and HERE with size comparison pictures of some 12-inch action figures alongside Coo Model's 1/6 scale Skeleton Soldier posted HERE so this figure isn't anything new except for the 1/6 scale accessories of shield and spear which are different from SK02.

This is just a chance for those who missed out on the earlier releases and want a chance to build their own skeleton army. These Coo Model skeleton soldiers are very sturdy and have no problems standing up on their own. They do not need any assistance from figure display stands and can hold poses very well. Scroll down to see the rest of the pictures.

Review 1: Brother Production 1/6 Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" Figure (Daniel Craig James Bond?)

This is the recently released Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 12-inch Figure with the name "Bone" deliberately misspelled so as not to raise any alarms that this is in fact a "BOND" figure, James Bond that is. The product name "sky fall" is itself a dead giveaway since "Skyfall" is the twenty-third James Bond film produced by Eon Productions featuring Daniel Craig in his third performance as James Bond, and Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the film's antagonist.

This was the first SKYFALL Daniel Craig James Bond figure I pre-ordered because it was the first figure previewed way back in December 2012, before DID's 1/6 British Military Intelligence Section 6 (MI6) Agent "Jack" 12-inch Spy Figure (previewed HERE in May 2013) and ZCWO 1/6 scale Articulate Body AB02 (Limited Edition) 12-inch Figure which was reviewed HERE on my toy blog on May 27, 2013. This figure certainly took its time arriving and for me, it's a good buy :)

Presenting Expendables 2 cast of Barney Ross, Lee Christmas & Gunner Jensen, the Terrific Trio

continued from previous post...

We've got Hot Toys MMS194 Expendables 2 Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross 1/6th scale Collectible Figure in full tactical suit (see earlier reviews HERE), we've got Art Figures AF012 1/6 scale Soldiers Of Fortune 2 12-inch action figure which is essentially Gunner Jensen from The Expendables 2 (posted HERE) and we've got Art Figures 1/6 Soldiers of Fortune 12-inch figure (Jason Statham as Lee Christmas in The Expendables - pictures HERE). What we haven't seen till now are the three of them in a group picture together for size comparisons so here it is: my toy blog post of the terrific trio, the team of three from The Expendables films :)

Hot Toys never did release any other cast members / actors from The Expendables films other than the two Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) 1/6 scale figures even though they have acquired the license to produce the Expendables Movie Masterpiece Series 12-inch figures. Out of the two Barney Ross figures, the latest version from The Expendables 2 looks to be the better choice if you can only get one of them. Scroll down to see the rest of the pictures of the three Expendables 12-inch figures. They certainly look good together. I'm just hoping that more members from the team will be released so that they can be complete.

Incoming: R.E.D. Mark X Infames "The Killing Field" Shock Infantry 1/6 scale collectible figure

Killzone is a first-person and third-person shooter series of video games exclusively for Sony Computer Entertainment's (SCE) video game consoles. The series is about a war between the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) and the Helghast. The protagonists of the series are Cpt/Col. Jan Templar (Killzone and Killzone: Liberation), Sgt. Tomas "Sev" Sevchenko (Killzone 2 and Killzone 3) and mercenary Arran Danner (Killzone: Mercenary). The main antagonist was originally Helghast Emperor Scolar Visari; his death in Killzone 2 brought about the rise of two new antagonists and the hopeful heirs to Visari's throne in Killzone 3: Jorhan Stahl and Admiral Orlock. The Killzone series follows the continuous war between the ISA and Helghast taking place on both ISA Earth colonies and the planet Helghan, the home planet of the Helghast. (source: wiki)

The Helgast Shock Troopers from Killzone appear in Killzone: Liberation and Killzone 2. Shock Troopers are a specialist breed of infantry deployed by the Helghan Empire. These Helghast were deployed once it became apparent for the need for assault infantry that could engage the enemy in close quarter combat.

Hot Toys The Expendables 2 1/6 scale Barney Ross 12-inch Collectible Figure Review III

continued from previous post...

Now that we have pretty much covered every part of 12-inch Barney Ross' upper body with all his tattoos (see previous post), it's time to cover him up and get him ready for battle. After all, he's a mercenary and that's what they do for a living, right?

This is Hot Toys recently released Movie Masterpiece Series MMS194 Expendables 2 Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross 1/6th scale Collectible Figure and he comes with two styles of outfits: casual wear and tactical suit. This toy blog post covers Barney Ross in his all black tactical suit consisting of black zip-up three-quarter sleeve tee, black tactical vest, black pants and black boots.

Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) uses a pair of Kimber Gold Combat II pistols as his sidearms in "The Expendables 2" film, the same Kimber Gold Combat II pistols that he wielded in the first film. In this film, the Kimbers' grips feature small "Expendables" emblems on both guns. Scroll down to see the rest of the pictures (24 of them in this post alone).

Review II: Hot Toys The Expendables 2 Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) shows his tattoo body

continued from previous post...

Hot Toys MMS194 1/6th scale Expendables 2 Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross 12-inch Collectible Figure comes with the True Type Muscular body with over 30 points of articulations and Body tattoos on chest, arms and back. These will be covered up by most because he's much nicer displayed with his full outfit and gear on so this toy blog post is dedicated to the artist who bothered to paint the tattoos on Barney Ross' 12-inch figure body. I also wanted Barney's tattooed body archived because after this post, we won't be seeing it any more. I think it's a nice touch that Hot Toys bothered with the tattoos even though they know that it will be covered up.

I had covered the box packaging and contents in the previous post HERE and am most glad that I got this later version of Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross i.e. the Expendables 2 version rather than the first version because looking at pictures of the two, this one looks like it's a DX (DeluXe) version with more details and accessories. Scroll down to see the rest of the pictures :)

Sneak Peek at Kotobukiya DC Comics 1/7 scale Armored Wonder Woman Bishoujo Statue

Kotobukiya first began as a single toy store for dolls in Japan operated by Jusaburo Shimizu in 1947. In 1951 Mr. Shimizu re-created his sole proprietorship into a limited liability company, together with his two brothers.

Their first foray into the non-kit business was in May of 1989 with the release of soft vinyl statues and active styling figures (known now as ARTFX Statues). Since then Kotobukiya have increased their lineup to include fully assembled and painted resin statues (Fine Art Statues), Bishoujo (pretty girl) Statues and One Coin Mini Figures.

Kotobukiya has recently unveiled their latest Bishoujo: DC Comics Armored Wonder Woman Bishoujo Statue. Needless to say, she's a beauty, as are all the Kotobukiya Bishoujo Statues :) I like them a lot! My only problem is that I don't collect statues because they don't really move and are not pose-able. Most importantly, most of them are fully painted i.e. costumes, outfits, belts, gear and accessories are all molded and painted. None of them are removable or have the kind of details 1/6 scale accessories have, including removable magazines and in some cases, even removable bullets from the magazines / revolvers etc.

Review 1: Hot Toys The Expendables 2 1/6 scale Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross 12-inch Figure

"The Expendables (2010)" featured an all-star cast of action-movie icons in Sylvester Stallone's explosive action thriller about a group of hard-nosed mercenaries who are double-crossed during a treacherous mission. It's the kind of all-out, over the top action movie they just don't make anymore. The movie had been billed as a throwback to the action flicks of the 1980s and despite criticisms, did well enough to justify a sequel, "Expendables 2 (2012)" with the third film scheduled for release in August 2014.

Following the great response to the Barney Ross Collectible Figure of The Expendables movie, Hot Toys released the 1/6th scale Barney Ross Collectible Figure from its sequel The Expendables 2. The movie-accurate Barney Ross collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Sylvester Stallone in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt, body tattoo, two styles of costume, detailed accessories and weapons. That makes it TWO Barney Ross figures and ZERO Expendables figures. If Hot Toys had their way, it would just be Stallone clones for Expendables 3 haha

This is Hot Toys MMS194 Expendables 2 Barney Ross 1/6th scale Collectible Figure which specially features: Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross in the movie The Expendables 2. The figure stands approximately 30 cm / 12 inches tall, has Muscular body with over 30 points of articulations and Highly detailed hair sculpture and moustache plus Movie-accurate facial expressions with detailed wrinkles and skin texture including Body tattoo on chest, arms and back.

This first part review of Hot Toys "The Expendables 2" 1/6 scale Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross 12-inch Collectible Figure alone has 27 pictures! And there are lots more to come :P

Pre-order Kumik KMF022 1/6th scale Feline Lady (12-inch Catwoman figure from Batman Returns)

For those of you who missed out on the first released "Batman Returns" 1:6 scale Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman figure (manufacturer unknown) - which I reviewed HERE and HERE - now there's another chance to own this feline figure, thanks to Kumik

Kumik KMF022 1/6th scale Feline Lady Collectible Figurine is a dead ringer for Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman from 1992's Batman Returns. This 12-inch female figure from Kumik is most likely inspired by the character from the movie (is there even any doubt?) and will come with Nice PVC outfits, fully pose-able with aa extra pair of claws hands and a bullwhip

You can tell right away that this is supposed to be Michelle Pfeiffer as Selina Kyle Catwoman from the 1992 American superhero film directed by Tim Burton with Michael Keaton in the lead role as Bruce Wayne / Batman. Scroll down to see the rest of the pictures.

Incoming: OE (Original Effect) Army Attractive Vol.6: 1/6 scale (?) Clarinet Female Action Figure

I really don't know what to make of OE's (Original Effect) Army Attractive series of 1/6 scale female figures. They are not your usual fare / content and can only appeal to a certain group of collectors (of the erotica kind?), of which I can honestly say I don't belong although I did get the very first OE Army Attractive female figure which was Viola. The reasons I got Viola was because I liked her head sculpt (they are all more stylized and anime than realistic / life-like) and the fact that she was "WWII-related" in a strange kind of way. You can check out my reviews HERE and HERE with comparison pictures of Viola and Hot Toys "The Spirit" Silken Floss 12-inch female figure in the second part review.

OE's (Original Effect) Army Attractive series of 1/6 scale female figures are 13.5 inches tall and not 12-inch in height which would have been correct in scale. This makes them in a league of their own and would be hard to fit them in with other 12-inch figures. I had a lot of issues with their Viola figure because of the poor quality of the body but apparently OE has identified the problem / listened to customer's feedback and produced a newer better body which OE is calling the REBORN body (see my post HERE on how the new body looks like without clothes)

Needless to say, there must be enough demand for OE's Army Attractive female figures for the company to go ahead and produce so many versions of these gals, with this latest preview of "Clarinet" being their number sixth figure. Scroll down to see the rest of the pictures.
