Review 1: Brother Production 1/6 Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" Figure (Daniel Craig James Bond?)

This is the recently released Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 12-inch Figure with the name "Bone" deliberately misspelled so as not to raise any alarms that this is in fact a "BOND" figure, James Bond that is. The product name "sky fall" is itself a dead giveaway since "Skyfall" is the twenty-third James Bond film produced by Eon Productions featuring Daniel Craig in his third performance as James Bond, and Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the film's antagonist.

This was the first SKYFALL Daniel Craig James Bond figure I pre-ordered because it was the first figure previewed way back in December 2012, before DID's 1/6 British Military Intelligence Section 6 (MI6) Agent "Jack" 12-inch Spy Figure (previewed HERE in May 2013) and ZCWO 1/6 scale Articulate Body AB02 (Limited Edition) 12-inch Figure which was reviewed HERE on my toy blog on May 27, 2013. This figure certainly took its time arriving and for me, it's a good buy :)

The box packaging itself is nondescript. It is all black and only has one picture and the title: "Sky Fall MI6 Agent" without any company / manufacturer logo or reference. Once you life up the lid, you'll find the figure all dressed up and placed snugly in the main sponge tray with his accessories kept in zip-lock bags around him.

This Brother Production Presents Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" (the name's "Bone", NOT "Bond" - resemblance is purely coincidental) comes with 1/6 scale head sculpt, 12-inch base body with over 35 points of articulation, realistic and detailed suit, long sleeve shirt, bow tie, black tie (with metal wire for pose-ability), belt, socks, shoes, sunglasses, watch. He is armed with a Walter PPK handgun with silencer, UMP submachine gun with suppressor / silencer. Extras include 3 pairs of hands plus one: pair of gloved hands, pair of relaxed hands, pair of gun holding hands and one left hand for gripping the foregrip of his submachine gun.

Bond (Daniel Craig) is already dressed in his Tuxedo Suit of black jacket and pants suit, long sleeve white shirt, bow tie, belt, and shoes. Strangely, the figure is not dressed with his socks and they are packed separately in one of the zip-lock bags

In many ways, the tuxedo is Bond's quintessential uniform. The jacket is usually single-breasted, black or white lapels; the dress shirt soft-fronted with pearl studs. Dress trousers are narrow-cut, lending a military flavor

I don't get why the manufacturer didn't put his socks on before making Bone wear his shoes.

Close-up pictures of Brother Production Presents Sky Fall MI6 Agent 1/6 scale head sculpt.

You certainly can tell that this is supposed to be Daniel Craig, who has been playing British secret agent James Bond since 2006. The resemblance and likeness is there

I did not like DiD's version of Daniel Craig James Bond at all because although it looks more realistic and life-like, the face of DiD Craig Bond looked really old and it certainly looked like he really need to be retired and put into a nursery home for old folks. Brother Production's version of Daniel Craig James Bond looks more handsome and debonair, and more likely to be a womanizer Bond for which he is famous for, besides spying of course ;p

Here's another look at Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent 12-inch figure of Daniel Craig as James Bond which I do like :)

Brother Production Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 1/6 scale accessories include: UMP submachine gun with suppressor / silencer, sunglasses, black tie (with metal wire for pose-ability), pair of black socks, silver watch, Walter PPK handgun with silencer,  3 pairs of extra hands plus one: pair of gloved hands, pair of relaxed hands, pair of gun holding hands and one left hand for gripping the foregrip of his submachine gun.

Close-up view of the spare hands included with this set. Brother Production 1/6 Sky Fall MI6 Agent already comes with a pair of relaxed palm / hands which are more sculpted and realistic with veins and better painted skin tone (more defined) whereas all the spare hands including the additional pair of relaxed hands are your typical extra hands with the smooth skin look and no realistic skin tone painted.

Daniel Craig's James Bond's main sidearm throughout the films is a Walther PPK. This 1/6 scale version comes with a silencer / suppressor. Also included with this Brother Production Presents 1/6 scale Sky Fall MI6 Agent "Bone" 12-inch Figure are a pair of sunglasses and a silver watch

The Heckler & Koch UMP-9 was the first weapon James Bond (Daniel Craig) uses in the film "Quantum of Solace (2008)" but didn't see any action in "Skyfall". Its inclusion is only probably because this 1/6 scale Submachine Gun / weapon is quite hard to find in the market and so has been added as a bonus. Put the gun in Bond's hands and he's back in 2008's "Quantum of Solace"
