Incoming: R.E.D. Mark X Infames "The Killing Field" Shock Infantry 1/6 scale collectible figure

Killzone is a first-person and third-person shooter series of video games exclusively for Sony Computer Entertainment's (SCE) video game consoles. The series is about a war between the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) and the Helghast. The protagonists of the series are Cpt/Col. Jan Templar (Killzone and Killzone: Liberation), Sgt. Tomas "Sev" Sevchenko (Killzone 2 and Killzone 3) and mercenary Arran Danner (Killzone: Mercenary). The main antagonist was originally Helghast Emperor Scolar Visari; his death in Killzone 2 brought about the rise of two new antagonists and the hopeful heirs to Visari's throne in Killzone 3: Jorhan Stahl and Admiral Orlock. The Killzone series follows the continuous war between the ISA and Helghast taking place on both ISA Earth colonies and the planet Helghan, the home planet of the Helghast. (source: wiki)

The Helgast Shock Troopers from Killzone appear in Killzone: Liberation and Killzone 2. Shock Troopers are a specialist breed of infantry deployed by the Helghan Empire. These Helghast were deployed once it became apparent for the need for assault infantry that could engage the enemy in close quarter combat.

The Helgast Shock Trooper is lightly armored but makes up for this by being fast and evasive. They rarely seek cover, and instead will push forward and run to your position to overwhelm and flank you. They will often throw smoke grenades ahead of them to conceal their movements and make it hard for you to target them as well as roll and zig-zag to further increase their evasiveness. They carry the StA-11 Submachine Gun which is deadly at close range where it achieves full power. They are also equipped with IvP-18 S-FOX machine pistols to ensure that they quickly dispose of their foes in combat.

From R.E.D. Mark and Infames will come this soon-to-be-released "The Killing Field" Shock Infantry 1/6 scale limited edition collectible figure which looks a lot like the Helgast Shock Troopers from Killzone. They look fantastic and here's hoping the price point is most favorable for multiple buys :)

I love it :) I love seeing companies releasing a variety of 1/6 scale action figures from various genres and I particularly like these sci-fi military type of soldiers because they always look ultra cool and bada$$. Some of us do get tired of all the Iron Man figures being released one after another with no end in sight so these figures are a relief and a breath of fresh air for the 1/6 scale collectible market.

I've already pre-ordered the ThreeA (3A) HALO Spartan III Emile 1/6 scale figure as well as the ThreeA (3A) x Capcom Lost Planet 2 Mercenary 1/6 scale figure (previewed HERE) so this will also be an welcome addition to the collection

On one hand, i wish 3A would get the license proper, they'de do the designs justice and with the franchise back in the spotlight next year with Killzone: Shadowfall why not?

On the other hand this looks bloody amazing, it doesn't look accurate to any particular representation of the helghast but if you're a fan of the franchise or just want a badass futuristic soldier on your shelf this looks excellent.

Love how all the pouches are modular so you can arrange them to your liking.
