Having covered this Sideshow Collectibles "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" COBRA Ninja Assassin 1/6 scale Storm Shadow box and contents including a stripping down of the layers of clothing he wears in the previous post, here's a look at Storm Shadow with all his gear and accessories put on. This figure came with quite a lot of accessories and gloved hands for posing which makes him a lot more fun to shoot and take pictures of.

You'll probably guess by now that this is not the live-action film version of Storm Shadow portrayed by Lee Byung-hun in the 2009 film "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra", and the 2013 sequel "G.I. Joe: Retaliation". This is the Storm Shadow from the "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" toyline, comic books and cartoon series. He is best known as the Cobra Commander's ninja bodyguard, and for his history with fellow ninja Snake Eyes. In this version, Storm Shadow is not korean but a Japanese American.

Here's Sideshow Collectibles "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" COBRA Ninja Assassin 1/6 scale Storm Shadow outfitted in a winter camouflage suit with hood and padded assault vest, Forearm gauntlets, Shin guards, Ninja Tabi boots and Balaclava concealed portrait. His katana is slung over his right shoulder.

Sideshow Collectibles COBRA Ninja Assassin 12-inch Storm Shadow figure with 1/6 scale katana sword unsheathed. The katana comes with engravings on the metal blade which reflects the values of the Arashikage clan. You can check out the awesome details in my post HERE (Be sure to scroll down to the last picture).

I opted to remove the padded assault vest for the all-white winter camouflage look as I feel that Storm Shadow wouldn't have need for the vest. The vest would have added extra weight for the ninja assassin and restrict his movements somewhat plus being too careful can be a disadvantage as one is less likely to attempt the more risky moves which could mean win or loose in combat. I added the assault pack and climbing rope. The rope is made entirely of wire so it's stiff and pose-able, not something ropes are meant to do unless you are an Indian snake charmer who can make a rope rise into the air just by playing a musical instrument.

And here's Sideshow Collectibles COBRA Ninja Assassin 12-inch Storm Shadow figure with his two 1/6 scale Ninja Tonfas. The tonfa (Okinawan: トンファー tonfā), also known as tong fa or tuifa, is an Okinawan weapon. It consists of a stick with a perpendicular handle attached a third of the way down the length of the stick, and is about 15-20 inches long. It was traditionally made from red or white oak and wielded in pairs. The tonfa is believed to have originated in either China or Southeast Asia where it is used in the respective fighting styles.

The Side-handle batons (sometimes referred to as T-batons or Nightsticks) used by law enforcement agencies are derived from the tonfa, an Okinawan kobudō weapon, and are used with a similar technique (although Tonfas are usually used in pairs, whereas side-handle batons are not). Nightsticks are batons with a short side handle at a right angle to the shaft, about six inches from one end. The main shaft is typically 61 centimetres (24 in) in length.

The Sideshow Collectibles Prometheus body is not the best figure for posing as it can just keel or fall over very easily. It doesn't hold poses very well but I managed to get Storm Shadow to pose for me.
